The Shea Butter and Coconut Oil in this recipe will help to soothe dry skin patches on babies' skin. The addition of Aloe Vera Powder also adds moisturizing and soothing properties to the product.

Step 1

Add Coconut Oil to a large microwave-safe bowl. Heat in microwave until completely melted. Add Shea Butter and stir until butter has melted.

Step 2

Blend with hand mixer. If product is very thin and warm, place in refrigerator for about 30 minutes to thicken up.

Step 3

Add Aloe Vera Powder and Vitamin E and mix in with spatula.

Step 4

Blend with hand mixer until smooth and creamy.

Step 5

Fill a piping bag or zip close bag with product. Cut small end off of bag to pipe lotion.

Step 6

Fill each bottle to 1.40 oz. by weight. Place in cup or shoe box so bottles stand upright. Once lotion has completely cooled, apply caps.

Step 7

Label product accordingly.

To Use

To Use: Apply to dry skin patches and gently rub in. Use as needed.
