Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Snap snowman mold securely on all three sides. Using electrical tape or duct tape, cover opening over the hat area of snowman. Turn mold upside down.
  2. To plastic beaker, add 1 oz. clear soap along with .05 oz. black soap color block. Heat briefly in microwave until melted. Pour soap into hat area, moving mold back and forth to cover entire area. Add more as needed until entire hat including the brim is filled. You can see from the side how much soap has been poured. Let harden.
  3. Snap Squiggle Column mold together on three sides. Place mold into a small box with tall sides or tall cup to keep the mold upright while filling and after.
  4. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 4 oz. cut up clear soap. Add .05-.10 oz. red color block. Heat in microwave until melted. Stir to blend in melted color.
  5. Let soap cool to 125° F. Slowly pour into Squiggle mold. Spritz top of soap with rubbing alcohol and let harden.
  6. Carefully unmold one side of the Snowman mold. Clean up any excess soap from the mold area. Snap snowman mold securely back together.
  7. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 11 oz. of cut up white soap. Heat in microwave until melted.  Add 0.35 oz. essential oil and let soap cool to 127°F.
  8. Pour a small amount of rubbing alcohol into the mold. Move mold back and forth so alcohol covers the entire area. Pour out any excess. Pour white soap into mold filling to the top. Prop mold up between some books or other heavy objects to keep the mold straight up. Let harden.
  9. Remove red soap from column mold. Trim sides of any excess soap and set aside.
  10. Unmold snowman. Trim bottom of any excess soap. Carefully, cut off the head and hat area down the entire column of the snowman. We recommend using a soap cutter or large dull knife to carefully slice into one side of the snowman and then the other side.
  11. There will now be three parts:  the hat and head, scarf and body. Place all three pieces on top of each other to see how they will look. Using a plastic beaker, melt 1 oz. of clear soap to use as "glue". Pour soap along the body then place the scarf on top. Hold in place until set. Then, pour more soap along the top of the scarf and place the head and hat on top, again, holding until set.  Prop up the snowman against something to keep upright.
  12. In large microwave-safe measuring cup, add 32 oz. cut up clear soap. Heat in microwave until melted. Add 0.70 oz. essential oil, 1-2 micro-scoops of Gorgeous Blue mica powder and 3 micro-scoops of White Diamonds mica. Stir well. Let soap cool to 125°F.
  13. Stir soap and pour about 1/4" into the bottom of the loaf mold. Wait until soap forms a heavy skin. Spritz the ENTIRE snowman with alcohol. Spritz the blue soap in mold with alcohol then pour a thin layer of soap into the mold. Place snowman into soap checking from each end to see if the snowman is straight. If any of the pieces should come unglued, simply place the soaps into the mold in layers. The overpour will hold them in place.
  14. Continue pouring soap until the entire mold is filled. Sprinkle White Diamonds mica over the top.
  15. Once soap has completely hardened, carefully unmold. Using a mitre box, if available, slice loaf into eight 1" bars.
  16. Wrap soap in airtight packaging, such as plastic wrap, and label product accordingly.
To Use: Lather onto wet skin and rinse with warm water.
