Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
- To small bowl, add 4 oz. Epsom salt, 0.10 oz. polysorbate 80 and Purple Passion mica. Mix well and set aside.
- Using coffee grinder, grind 2.30 oz. Epsom salt. To large bowl, add baking soda, citric acid, and ground Epsom salt. Mix well.
- To beaker, mix fragrance and stabilizer. After two minutes, slowly drizzle fragrance onto powders while simultaneously hand mixing.
- To mold set, add 1 oz. purple salt to one half and top with white mixture. Fill other half with white
- mixture. Squeeze mold halves together and set aside on bubble wrap. Repeat for remaining molds. Allow bath fizzies to sit for one hour.
- Remove mold halves on the purple salt sides. Brush away some of purple salt to create uneven rocky top.
- To beaker, add 0.25 oz. coconut oil, 0.25 oz. cocoa butter, 0.25 oz. polysorbate 80, and NuTone purple powder. Melt in the microwave in 10-second bursts until melted and mix well. Pour half the mixture into the deeper crevices of the purple salt.
- To remaining mixture, add black mica and mix well. Pour into the same deep crevices of purple salt.
- To clean beaker, add 0.10 oz. coconut oil, 0.10 oz. cocoa butter, 0.10 oz. polysorbate 80 and 1 micro scoop highlight white purple mica. Melt in microwave and mix well. Drizzle mixture over
peaks of the purple salt and along the rim. - Sprinkle highlight white purple mica powder on top of purple salt.
- To clean beaker, add silver mica and spray with rubbing alcohol. Mix well to create paste. Paint along the rim of each bath fizzy.
- Allow bath fizzies to harden overnight and then remove from molds.
- Package and label accordingly.
To Use: Drop into warm bath water. Soak in tub.
