"What purpose does the Kaolin clay, Coco Butter and Hydrosol serve in the recipe if it is just to sit on the shower floor? Thank you"

Staff Answer The kaolin clay and cocoa butter help to make the steamer harder so it does not dissolve too quickly. We originally had Rosemary Hydrosol which was an added stimulating scent. Since that was discontinued, we substituted the Geranium Hydrosol. It adds a nice scent to the steamer and is added liquid to hold them together. This can be substituted with plain water, if desired.
