Staff Answer They really both smell the same. It was just our preference. You can use either or a totally different EO or fragrance.

Staff Answer The vegan beeswax is not quite as hard as regular beeswax so the candelilla wax was added as an additional hardener. If making an substitutions, you would need to test your product for the proper amount. We would start with the same amount as the recipe then add more or less depending on the outcome of the product.
