"I have heard it's bad to wrap cold process soap in plastic, as it can mold or go bad quickly. However you suggest we wrap it in shrink wrap. Can you tell me if shrinkwrapping CP soap shortens the shelf-life?"

Staff Answer We recommend wrapping Melt and Pour soap not CP. CP should not be completely wrapped. You can place in a "sleeve" with your company info on the label. A sleeve or cigar band type wrapping leaves the ends open so the soap is not completely wrapped. We also sell 102 x 102 soap bands which you can shrink around the soap but it leaves the sides open.
